In light of the multiple extremely difficult challenges the Crooksville community has been facing recently, the Lones family & businesses (LLx, NovelTree Farm, X Materials) will be covering all entry costs to the Rec Center this evening. Please feel free to join us anytime between 6-8pm for climbing, light half-court basketball skills/shooting, or just some community togetherness. Our hearts are with you 💙

Open climbs at the Rec Center, now hosted by volunteers Molly Lones and/or Candace & Brian Bobinger of Somerset, are currently scheduled for Mondays from 6pm-8pm! Potential cancellations/schedule changes are possible and will be posted publicly here, so be sure to check in prior to making a special trip if preferred. Pricing is still $2 per student, $3 per adult, or $6 per family. See you tonight!

Last night was the first night the Crooksville Rec Center Climbing wall was open under Molly Lones - things went very smoothly - with a great group of people and lots of kids. Teresa and I were thrilled.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Molly Lones has agreed to take over the Crooksville Recreation Center Climbing Wall Program. I’ve known Molly for a long time – she was the winner of the first Climbing Wall competition we ever held and I have no doubt she will do a great job. Teresa and I will continue to do the maintenance – setting routes, tightening, washing, and moving holds, washing and replacing ropes etc. It simply became too much to do it all with my health issues. We were afraid the Program would die out and are so grateful that Molly will carry it on.

For information on renting the Rec Center it is best to call the Village of Crooksville Administration Office at 740-982-2656 or 740-982-2712 and ask for Lacy.
