Local government involves endless committee meetings, tough decisions, navigating complex issues and a clear understanding of the many laws, regulations, statutes, requirements, etc.

May 16 marked the celebration of 'National Learn How to Swim Day', which underscores the significance of promoting the Crookston Community Pool's benefits. This facility offers a safe environment for learning swimming skills.

According to credible sources, an estimated 40-50% of Crookston's children are unable to swim.

Let’s change that data.

Crookston Park and Recreation's summer swim lesson programs offer a promising solution. The adage 'Kids Drown Without a Sound' emphasizes the importance of water safety.

Look at that smile! 83 year old Kathleen Kuznia, who goes to the Crookston Community Pool every morning for her daily work out, won this beautifully crafted queen size quilt.
This quilt was expertly and meticulously created and donated by another morning lap swimmer at the Crookston Community Pool, Susan Fredan.
Fin & Fit Crookston extends its heartfelt thank you to Susan for all the time, effort and cost she put into making this quilt.

On May 3rd, the Crookston Mason’s “hit out of the park” with the delicious breakfast they prepared and hosted in support of Fin & Fit Crookston. Proceeds raised will assist Fin & Fit’s sponsorship of activities and events at the Crookston Community Pool.
