ANNOUNCEMENT:
To all our Crockettsville supporters and Fans,
As many of you know, we were unable to host our Annual Crockettsville Charity Concert & Trailride last year. As we were trying to make it work for 2016, we were informed of vandalism to the host property. We then visited the property to assess the extent of the damage, which ended up being virtually a total loss of most of the resources we have put into the property over the years. Most everything back stage was removed or stolen, as well as fencing and all of the electricity. Since that time, we have looked at various alternatives trying to keep the event in the area, or at least the same region. After several talks with Crockettsville supporters and local politicians in both Breathitt & Knott Counties, we have been able to outline a few possibilities as we move forward in the future. Unfortunately, due to the timing this year, many of the artists who have traditionally supported our event in the past, and some new ones we were trying to bring, are already touring and booked for 2016. We are continuing to explore ways to bring back Crockettsville to the area. Over the next several months we will continue to have meetings and artist discussions to try and establish a re-launch in 2017. We thank you all for your support and understanding.

Dear fans,
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will unfortunately be unable to host the 2015 Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trailride. Halfway to Hazard and our amazing C'ville event committee have been working hard to make C'ville 8 happen right up until our logistical deadline despite these circumstances, thus our delay for the official cancellation. We understand that many people will be disappointed by the news, however, we can assure you that no one is more upset than us. The Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trailride will always be a way for us, and it's dedicated committee, numerous volunteers and loyal sponsors to show our passion for the Eastern Kentucky community. We have high hopes to continue it in the Fall of 2016. You can find the official televised H2H announcement in a detailed interview with the Hazard CBS affiliate, WYMT, which will air on Monday, June 22nd 7PM EST 2015. Thank you again for all for your understanding and continued support of Halfway to Hazard and the Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trailride.
