We are grateful to receive the donation of butter, carrots and asparagus today through Hunger Task Force, Inc.’s Connecting Farms to Families program! Butter is not something we are able to often frequently to our clients, so it great to have and for us to be able to share it came directly from small and mid-sized Wisconsin farmers and producers. This program is a win-win, providing a stable market for Wisconsin farmers and producers and healthy and culturally-familiar foods to hunger relief organizations – like us – to nourish our community! Thank you Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) and Hunger Task Force, Inc. for the investment in food assistance programs across the state.
