UPDATE: Preston has been found thanks to all the amazing people at Comcast who saw this post! We will have a very special Valentine's Day update later today.
----

PLEASE HELP US FIND THE OWNER!!! All, we are asking your help this Valentine's Day to find the owner of this wedding ring. A viewer reached out to us for help. They say a Comcast worker came to their house in Monument, but while laying down a wire, he lost his ring. He came back days later looking for it, but it hadn't been found yet. When a different crew returned to lay down a permanent wire, they found it! The homeowner reached out to Comcast and his supervisor but never heard back. They believe the worker's name was Preston, but they're not positive. Please help us find him this Valentine's Day!!! 💕 If you know him please DM us or email us at [email protected].

🚨If you need any pet supplies for this upcoming storm and cold front, please let us know, and we can help if we have what you need! 🚨

We want you and your animals to be safe this weekend as this weather moves in this evening. Here are a few tips we suggested and some great articles with more things to remember.

- Bring any animals that you can inside. If they are not able to come in, they must be provided with a warm shelter. A plastic dog house is not enough. Provide heat lamps, blankets, or straw to a shelter to make sure the area is warm.

- Animals must have liquid water at all times. With these temps, a bowl or bucket of water is going to freeze quickly. Getting a heated water bowl from a local pet supply store is going to be helpful.

- If you do walk them, wash their feet off because of the amount of salt there will be on the roads and sidewalks.

Here are a few more articles that have even more pet safety tips for cold weather. We have also listed our disaster preparedness page for access to resources and reminders

We're sure most know, but just in case, it is really cold and will be extremely cold tonight.

We want to make sure everyone is thinking of their pets and doing all they can to make them comfortable during the cold.

- You MUST provide shelter for them if they are outside. That's the law, and if you need shelter, stop by; we have dog houses! Make sure the shelter is insulated if it is plastic; straw works great!

- They must have liquid water. Placing a bucket outside today will not be enough. Get an electric water dish so they can have liquid water at all times.

- Make sure you do not go on long walks without protecting their feet. Just like us, animals can get frostbite, and it is very painful!

We hope everyone stays safe during this cold snap. If you need any supplies, stop by the TCRAS CARE House in Woodland Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today or tomorrow, and we can help you keep your animals warm.
