5.09.2026 Latest Update for Nottoway County Officer's of Election:

The County HR will meet with Officers of Elections at the Registrar's Office during Officer of Election Training in June to help complete necessary paperwork. There is no need to come County administrator's office at this time. This will happen at Officer's of Election Training at the the Registrar's office. This will be a joint effort.

Thank you County Administration and Voter Registration for making this transition seamless.

The County Administrator has determined that this will begin as May 1, 2026.

Not for those that have worked prior to May 1, 2026.

Great News!

If you are an Officer of Election, please report to the County Administrator’s Office to complete your tax and onboarding information.

Nottoway County now requires all Officers of Election to be classified as County employees in order to process payment. Completion of this paperwork is necessary for you to be paid for the most recent election.
