What a way to kick off a new year of MKLC! 🌈🐐

Yesterday, our building was buzzing as about 250 people joined us for the first day of MKLC and a special Parsha Noach Party.

Students and families celebrated the story of Noah with a petting zoo, activities, and an incredible rainbow of food prepared by the B’nai Amoona Men’s Club. From learning together to eating together to simply filling the halls with kids, families, teachers, and friends, it was a wonderful way to begin the year.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning so much fun. We’re excited for everything ahead at MKLC this year!

As we begin the Torah anew, Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham introduces us to Parashat Bereish*t. We approach this new beginning carrying both the weight of remembrance and our enduring hope for healing and peace.

Even a little rain couldn’t stop us from having a great night at the Chaiway 30s, 40s, & 50s Sushi in the Sukkah event last night! 🌧️🍣 We moved the festivities indoors, enjoyed delicious sushi, and when the rain finally let up, we made our way outside for a group photo in the sukkah.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun night of food, laughter, and connecting! 💜

🍹🌿 Sisterhood Sip & Sukkah was such a fun night! Sisterhood gathered in the sukkah for DIY mocktails, light bites, and plenty of conversation during a round of speed kibbitzing (think speed friend-dating!). From mixing up creative drinks to making new connections, it was a night full of laughter, friendship, and good vibes. 💛

What a wonderful time at HAZAK Sukkot! 🍂🌿 We enjoyed delicious fall foods, great music from the Dorsett Street Jazz Band, and plenty of fun and laughter with friends. It was such a wonderful way to celebrate Sukkot and enjoy the season together! 🎶🍁

This morning, our Linda Rotskoff Early Childhood Center celebrated Sukkot with a morning full of fun, learning, and hands-on activities! After spending the past few weeks learning all about the holiday, our LRECC students got to put their knowledge into action by building their own mini sukkah and enjoying an ushpizin puppet show with Rabbi Abraham. It was such a fun way to experience Sukkot together and celebrate all the joy this holiday brings! 💜
