Prairie strips are planted native prairie grasses or wildflowers that act as in-field contour buffers or edge-of-field strips. Prairie strips:

🌾 protect soil and water;
🌾 provide habitat for wildlife;
🌾 perform better than other vegetation types; and
🌾 can reduce sediment movement and runoff from farm fields.
