Crete Rotary Club members, with family members and friends, completed our annual volunteer activities at the Saline County Fair, including helping with entry wristbands and serving in the beer garden at the Figure 8 Races Thursday evening, July 17, and recycling collection the following Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings.

Club members place recycle barrels during three evenings of major fair events including the races, concert, rodeo, and Crete Volunteer Fire and Rescue BBQ and beer garden. Each morning members sort aluminum cans and plastic bottles for recycling. Several enthusiastic members even take a dive into trash barrels from the bbq and rodeo in search of more recyclables.

The club extends congratulations to Saline County Ag Society members on another successful fair season and thanks for making room for these Rotary projects.
