Cornhusker United Way LIVE UNITED! The Cornhusker United Way supports local organizations as well as multi-county agencies that serve communities within our 9-county area served.

There is no paid staff, only VOLUNTEERS! That means with the exception of postage, stationery and promotional material, 98 cents out of every dollar contributed returns to local member agencies.

Counties served include: Butler, Fillmore, Jefferson, Polk, Saline, Saunders, Seward, Thayer and York.

General information

Cornhusker United Way contributions will assist: victims of child and spouse abuse individuals in emergencies needing the services of a 24 hour hotline (211) general public transportation services to handicapped persons and special education students children and adults in need of drug or alcohol counseling children needing immunization from preventable diseases lower income individuals needing home repairs school children needing tutoring assistance elderly in need of assistance maintaining their independence
