CPI is a non-profit organization located in the San Luis Valley, and annually hosts the Crestone Music Festival.

(CPI) is a non-profit organization located in the San Luis Valley which annually hosts the Crestone Music Festival, organizes the Youth Enrichment Program, and offers community support to local events. Our office is located in the Baca Grande Sub-division in Crestone, CO. Feel free to pop in for a chat and a cup of coffee. Be sure to call first to make sure we haven't stepped out. 719-256-4533.

Our big yearly fundraiser is coming up soon and you don’t want to miss this. 🥳 TWO NIGHTS of all your favorite local musicians, and some folks involved that may surprise you!
This is a great event for community gathering, honoring the great musicians that got us here, loving music together, and opportunity to make sure that our programs continue on to the next year!
I think we are doing such good work in the community here through our music programs, and we are committed to growing next years Crestone Music Festival, and it’s going to be such a great event. Support our youth grant program that buys instruments and lessons for middle and high schoolers, hosts toddler song and story time at the library, buys musical books for all ages at the library, we bought brand new instruments for the library to lend to folks, host a learning jam monthly, and bring workshops and performances to the schools. Please join and give us all our great work some love!

Would love to have a solid collection of photos, pics of art, pics of the shirts, whatever there is … to keepsake in an online album.

Sunday Crestone Energy Fair had great vibes at the music fest booth! Hanging, and singing and jamming all day … lead by Robin Chestnut, Pioneer Mother & Uni Drums!
Feeling like we had a great warm up this weekend, and ready to go even harder for our music fest next year!

Coyote Jam!! Was a stellar way to end an epic 1st day of the Crestone Energy Fair! B2B with Deci Does & Michael Keefe of Coyote Mountain Offgrid Outpost holding it down while musicians played live instruments and sang… and every one danced!
Making this a regular feature at the Crestone Music Festival, forever more!

Each month we are buying books for the Baca library! 📖 We focus on musical themes, people and education for all ages. 🎶
We have added the whole Raffi set, a month on women in music, Doc Watson song book and biography, most recently a month on the Grateful Dead, and next we will feature all ages books on Bob Dylan.
Libraries are cool!! 😎

We had a great SAVE THE DATE Party 🌟 This time next year we are going to grow into a Sleepover Festival again ⛺️ And we want everybody to be there! Last weekend in August 2027, Crestone Music Festival Rides Again!

We will be raffling off this epic cajon at the SANJI show on Saturday Night!
This is a cajon handmade by epic drummer, Andy Skellenger Andy Skellenger and painted by the Big Dawg himself Chances R Good Brother Kuhn 💗🩵⚡️ Crestone is lucky to have both these guys locally making tunes and supporting our music scene. Crestone Music Fest is grateful for this donation to the cause!
Winner also gets a drum lesson with Andy… who’s a legend in his field, by the way. Which I will also need, bc I tried to play this bad boy for y’all to get a sound bite and I did not know what I was doing. The pics only hint at how cool this thing is! I will definitely be putting a ticket in.
Raffle tickets are $20 and will be open for the first half (ish) of the show.

Delighted to host 🌧️SANJI not only for an epic dance party Saturday the 29th at the Elephant 🐘 Cloud ☁️ (7pm) but they will also play a show at the Crestone Charter School to nourish youth creativity.
Thursday they are performing at the school and hosting an African Instrument Petting Zoo 🪘 Kids k-8 will have a chance to try out all kinds of drums, ngonis, shakers and other traditional African instruments.
See you on the dance floor! Super happy to be supporting musical enrichment in the community. Especially for the kids!
