From our family to yours...we realize that 2020 has been a difficult year for many and we wish you to know that WE STAND WITH YOU in support and love. We’ve been a little quiet this year, hunkering down like the rest of you and figuring out what is next. This is the time of year that we would be crazy busy preparing for our Thailand trip and that you would have the nervous, excited energy of your upcoming adventure. We miss you, we miss Thailand, we miss Botshabelo and we miss our Power of One Family! Though we are delayed, we are not done!! We will be back in one form or another as soon as possible. So stay tuned... you just never know what miracle is right around the corner! Please have a happy, abundant and joyful New Year. See you soon!!

Our Story

the Power of One- Thailand is from December 27- January 15 The Power of One -South Africa takes place July 24- August 7 In Thailand we spend nine days working and playing at an Asian Elephant Sanctuary, as well as volunteering at a Burmese refugee elementary school, teaching English to our sponsored Thai schools and helping out at a Buddhist monastery. No trip to Thailand would be complete though without trips to the beach, night markets, golden temples and lots of eating! While in South Africa we spend our time at our home away from home, Botshabelo, a village for the orphans of AIDS families. From babies to young adults, no one is turned away. Here we learn so much, experience so much, gain so much and hopefully give so much! A day in South Africa could include teaching a class, building a shed, taking a trip to the village for supplies or helping to rescue a family. In service to this family, we are on hand to do what is needed. We also spend some time at a Rhino Reserve and at a Lion Sanctuary, watching and interacting with these majestic African animals. Our time spent with the beautiful people of Botshabelo carries us through life with new appreciation and strength.

Join us for three weeks...your life will change forever.
