Dylan Dornack, a Junior from Creston High School, was the speaker at the August 18th meeting of the Creston Rotary Club. Dylan is involved in just about every aspect of school activities and was the RYLA representative for Creston Rotary. Rotary Youth Leadership (or RYLA) is a transformative training experience designed for high school freshman, sophomores and juniors where essential leadership skills and principles are taught in a supportive and respectful environment. Dylan found the experience to be beneficial and is looking to apply to be a leader at a future RYLA event.
At this meeting we also discussed supporting the Iowa Network Against Human Trafficking and Slavery. Creston Rotary members and Dylan Dornack, the 2025 RYLA representative, hold up their attestations for “Why” they support these efforts. June 23, 2025 was the 20th Anniversary of the organization.
