As fall starts to set in, we would like to take a minute and thank everyone that makes these hanging flower baskets happen and flourish all summer long!! We think they make Uptown Creston so inviting and the perfect compliment to the flower pots on the sidewalk!

🌸 Thank you to The City of Creston for assigning hotel/motel tax dollars in the past to help offset expenses

Creston CWC started this project in 2016 with the dream of it growing each year and helping to showcase the growth of the Uptown District.
Unfortunately, we are starting from scratch for next year’s flower basket funds. If you love these hanging baskets, and would like to see them blooming again in 2025, please consider donating to the flower basket funds.
The average cost of these baskets are $375. This includes the flowers, fertilizer, daily watering and maintenance with the goal of having them on display from Market on Maple in May - Labor Day.
Donations can be made to Creston CWC with flowers in the memo and mailed to 301 W. Montgomery St. Creston, Iowa 50801.
