I know, I know—I make a pretty dashing pirate. But I’ve traded the high seas and hung up my cutlass for my hammer and forge this week.

​It’s going to take a bit of time to get fully caught up, but we're hitting our stride again with the help of my main man Pete. (He’s not in the photo because, frankly, he just couldn't pull off the pirate look like I can).

Hey everyone,
​Just wanted to pop on here and share a quick update with the Bear Iron Forge family. Recently, I took a hit and suffered an eye injury. It definitely threw a wrench in the gears for a bit and forced me to step away from the anvil to let things settle down.

​The good news? I’m on the mend and slowly but surely healing back to normal. Eye injuries are no joke, especially in a shop full of flying sparks and hot steel, so I’m making sure not to rush the healing process—safety first!

​Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding while work around the forge has been moving at a slightly slower pace. Orders and projects are still moving forward as my recovery allows, and I'll be back at full strength in no time.
​Keep an eye out ( hahaha get it) for more updates soon, and as always, thank you for supporting Bear Iron Forge!

I have also decided I most definitely do not want to be a pirate!!!!

A huge congratulations to this amazing young lady! 🛠️✨

​She was recently voted Honor Camper at Buffalo Cove Outdoor Education Center — a huge achievement that shows true grit, character, and leadership.

​Here at Bear Iron Forge, we believe hard work and outstanding character deserve to be recognized. To celebrate her effort, we surprised her on her last day of camp with a custom, hand-forged knife of her very own.

Well, folks, we just hit another incredible milestone here at the forge! ⚒️✨

​We’re excited to announce that our handcrafted housewares are officially being featured at Fraser Ridge Farm in beautiful Crumpler, NC!
