Crestline PTO Nov. 6, 2024
*Attendance- Dani Boylan, Crystal Miller, Tylana Miller, Melissa Osborne, Mallory Iacobucci, Jodi Baker, Denise Brickley, Lauren Keesee, Beth Stone, Samantha Laferty
*Call to order- 3:15 pm by Samantha Laferty
*Treasurerās Report-
As of 11/6/24 general funds have $16,773.02. Preschool has $561.22.
*Old Business-
- Fundraiser: Tri-C held from Sept. 9 - Sept. 23 sold approximately $9,500. Crestline PTOās profit was $4,823.96.
- Endowment Fund: funds are now available for requisitions to be given to Mrs. Tylana Miller for approval and submission.
- PTO purchased $76.75 in supplies for attendance incentive: Glow Party for grades PK-5, which took place on Oct. 4, 2024.
- PTO purchased pizza at $36.93 for Parent Education Behavioral Class, there were 5 families in attendance.
- Funeral flowers were purchased by PTO in the amount of $88.76
*New Business-
- Motion to have PTO provide food and drinks on Nov. 11, 2024 at the Veteran's Day Assembly for veterans was passed.
- Motion to have PTO pay for preschoolās December field trip to Victory Lanes anything that exceeds $5/child was passed.
- Motion was made to have PTO purchase dinner from Philās Deli for staff members, on Nov. 25 for Parent/Teacher Conferences, not to exceed $12/person was passed.
- Endowment Fund: Giving Crestline Exempted Village School $2,000 towards student incentive purchase. PTO will be paying the difference of the cost for Giant Inflatable(s), Outdoor Connect Four and Jenga. Quote was for approximately $5,000. School will be responsible for purchasing insurance and providing storage of items. Crestline School will need to add a waiver to Final Forms in the future, for students to participate on the giant inflatable(s). (more information to come)
- Preschool would like to do Kona Ice Fundraiser in Fall & Spring (more details to come).
- Motion to have a Chipotle Fundraiser, usually gross about $400, was approved and being set up soon. (More information to follow).
- Calendar Fundraiser will happen later this year, in the spring, it raised approximately $10,000 minus rewards for students. Could change to a āFill in the Inflatableā fundraiser. (More information to come).
- PTO is providing funds for an interactive air assembly for students on November 25, 2024, which cost $1,539.85 which will be provided for grades k-8 in four 45 minutes sessions.
- Community Engagement Activities: Free Family Movie Night will be held on Nov. 22nd at 6:30pm. Popcorn Provided, but families can bring their own drinks/snacks and sleeping bags. Double Feature to be shown: Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer and The Grinch. PTO is purchasing the oil and popcorn for this event. Students MUST be accompanied by an adult. This event will happen in the cafeteria.
- Secret Santa Shoppe: (highschoolers help wrap gifts), more information to come.
