Happy Ohio School Bus Driver Day!! 🚌

We are so thankful and appreciative of the amazing bus drivers that go the extra mile for our kids each and every day! They ensure our kids get to where they need to safely and get to truly know them. 💙🤍

Thanks to our amazing team of drivers! They not only get our kids to and from school, they also take them to trips they will remember for a lifetime, sporting events that will stay with them forever, and competitions that send them to the far reaches of the state and beyond.

🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week is Almost Here! 🍎
📅 May 4–8

We’re excited to celebrate our amazing teachers! Thanks to a generous grant from the Endowment Fund and Mr. Gearheart, our elementary teacher’s lounge is ready—but we need your help to fill it with treats our teachers will love!

Our PTO is collecting snack and drink donations to stock the lounge and show our appreciation all week long. 💛

Attendance- Dani Boylan, Maggie Heiby, Tylana Miller, Mallory Iacobucci, Crystal Miller, Melissa Hazlewood, Samantha Laferty, Beth Stone, Melissa Osborne, Kennedi Rossman, Shanon Lemasters

Treasurer’s Report-
As of 2/5/25 general funds have $17,102.10 total. Preschool has $768.28.
$6,868 earned from inflatables fundraiser

Old Business & New Business:
- $6,868 earned from inflatables fundraiser, to be spent in conjunction with $2,000 endowment, with PTO paying difference for Bounce House, Obstacle Course, Outdoor Games, and specific cleaning supplies needed for sanitizing equipment.
- Motion to have a Chipotle Fundraiser, usually gross about $400, was approved and has been set up for Tuesday May 6, 2025 from 4pm-8pm
- Preschool will be having Kona Ice come back during field day.
- Motion moved to have PTO pay for four $5 Frank Gift Cards for grades 3-5 ost testing reward and it was approved.
- Motion moved to have PTO purchase box lunches and Panera breakfast bagels for teacher appreciation week in May and it was approved unanimously.
- Motion moved to have PTO pay for 5th grade graduation gifts. It was approved and will be ordered before spring break, to have names added to them.
- Motion moved to have PTO pay for snacks during the attendance incentive to Cinemark: Minecraft Movie. It was seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report-

-Inflatables Fundraiser will be March 10-21. Flyer to be sent home soon. School Goal is $10,000. It will have 36 spots that students can have filled with prices ranging from $1-$25. If a student fills all 36 spots, they will earn a $50 gift card!
-Endowment Fund: Giving Crestline Exempted Village School $2,000 towards student incentive purchase. PTO will be paying the difference of the cost for Giant Inflatable(s), Outdoor Connect Four and Jenga will the profit from the Inflatables Fundraiser this year.
-Motion to have a Chipotle Fundraiser, usually gross about $400, was approved and has been set up for May 6, 2025 from 4pm-8pm
-Preschool will be having Kona Ice come back in the spring.
-Santa Shoppe earned PTO a profit of approximately $400. Students spent $2,281.
-Treasurer completed necessary taxes for the required school year.
-Motion moved by Mallory Iacobucci to have PTO purchase dinner for the executive meeting on March 27, 2025. Motion was seconded by Dani Boylan and approved unanimously.
-March 27, 2025 date will be a PTO Executive Meeting (no public permitted).

New Business-
-Motion moved by Mallory Iacobucci to order flowers for Beth Stone’s father in law. It was seconded by Maggie Heiby and third by Tylana Miller. It was unanimously approved.
-Final touches on inflatables fundraiser before sending out to families.

*Treasurer’s Report-
As of 11/6/24 general funds have $16,773.02. Preschool has $561.22.

*Old Business-
- Fundraiser: Tri-C held from Sept. 9 - Sept. 23 sold approximately $9,500. Crestline PTO’s profit was $4,823.96.
- Endowment Fund: funds are now available for requisitions to be given to Mrs. Tylana Miller for approval and submission.
- PTO purchased $76.75 in supplies for attendance incentive: Glow Party for grades PK-5, which took place on Oct. 4, 2024.
- PTO purchased pizza at $36.93 for Parent Education Behavioral Class, there were 5 families in attendance.
- Funeral flowers were purchased by PTO in the amount of $88.76

*New Business-
- Motion to have PTO provide food and drinks on Nov. 11, 2024 at the Veteran's Day Assembly for veterans was passed.
- Motion to have PTO pay for preschool’s December field trip to Victory Lanes anything that exceeds $5/child was passed.
- Motion was made to have PTO purchase dinner from Phil’s Deli for staff members, on Nov. 25 for Parent/Teacher Conferences, not to exceed $12/person was passed.
- Endowment Fund: Giving Crestline Exempted Village School $2,000 towards student incentive purchase. PTO will be paying the difference of the cost for Giant Inflatable(s), Outdoor Connect Four and Jenga. Quote was for approximately $5,000. School will be responsible for purchasing insurance and providing storage of items. Crestline School will need to add a waiver to Final Forms in the future, for students to participate on the giant inflatable(s). (more information to come)
- Preschool would like to do Kona Ice Fundraiser in Fall & Spring (more details to come).
- Motion to have a Chipotle Fundraiser, usually gross about $400, was approved and being set up soon. (More information to follow).
- Calendar Fundraiser will happen later this year, in the spring, it raised approximately $10,000 minus rewards for students. Could change to a “Fill in the Inflatable” fundraiser. (More information to come).
- PTO is providing funds for an interactive air assembly for students on November 25, 2024, which cost $1,539.85 which will be provided for grades k-8 in four 45 minutes sessions.
- Community Engagement Activities: Free Family Movie Night will be held on Nov. 22nd at 6:30pm. Popcorn Provided, but families can bring their own drinks/snacks and sleeping bags. Double Feature to be shown: Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer and The Grinch. PTO is purchasing the oil and popcorn for this event. Students MUST be accompanied by an adult. This event will happen in the cafeteria.
- Secret Santa Shoppe: (highschoolers help wrap gifts), more information to come.

Endowment Fund: extension taken place to give new teachers to the district the opportunity to apply for the endowment. Approximately $9,000 to be allocated this year.
