It is important that we hear directly from our local businesses so we can effectively influence our local government officials and advocate for policies that protect long-term economic stability in our mountain communities. 🗣️📢

It is a fact that public lands drive tourism, recreation, and revenue for small businesses. This workshop will break down how current public lands issues could impact your business and why staying informed matters.

We strongly encourage all small business owners, entrepreneurs, and local leaders connected to tourism, recreation, hospitality, retail, and service industries to attend.

Please join us at 5:30 PM and make your voice part of the conversation.

Mountain Transit and Goodwin’s Market teamed up for a “Fill the Bus” event supporting our local Veterans at beautiful Lake Gregory.

San Bernardino County 3rd District Supervisor Dawn Rowe Veterans Affairs Commissioner and all our local dedicated Veteran’s organizations worked to make this a great event: Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post & Auxiliary 9624, American Legion Post 360, Rim of the World Veterans Outreach and Marine Corps League.

Special thanks to all the community who came out to support the event Twin Peaks Sheriff Department, Offices of Congressman Jay Obernolte, Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh and Assemblyman Tom Lackey, American Red Cross, and Mountain Homeless Coalition.

We love our mountain Veterans!

Federal decisions happening right now could positively or negatively impact access, recreation, visitation, and revenue, directly affecting business owners and bottom lines.

Join this workshop to learn how public lands support local economies, drive tourism, and strengthen our communities.

Come for practical information, connect with other business owners, and stay for the networking and pizza.

Crestline Krampus 2025 was hosted at !

In previous years, Crestline Krampus was just an unofficial parade, but its growing popularity inspired a more official celebration at one of Crestline’s favorite event venues.

During the festivities, guests kept the spirit alive by taking an unofficial stroll through town—paying homage to the Krampus tradition of roaming the streets as the horned, mischievous counterpart to Saint Nicholas. In Alpine folklore, Krampus is known for scaring off bad behavior and bringing a little spooky fun to the holiday season.

What do you think of this tradition? Would you attend or celebrate a local Krampus event?
