Home grown theater is taking shape on the set of Bodhi and the Rainforest!
Written and composed by local creative - Suzanne Pierson, Bodhi and the Rainforest is an environmental children’s musical telling the adventures of a reluctant caterpillar who embarks on a journey to help restore a disappearing rainforest. Along the way, the caterpillar encounters colorful creatures, overcomes challenges, and discovers an inner strength that leads to a remarkable transformation. Featuring music, dance, vibrant characters, and a cast of local young performers.

Structure + Chaos is a dual exploration of the push and pull between human systems and the natural world, and the often messy interface between our inner lives and the environments we inhabit. Together, their work reveals the beauty, tension, and complexity that emerge where structure meets chaos.

Timothy White -
A mixed-media artist, furniture maker, and luthier. Living and working in Crested Butte, Colorado, he is inspired by the mountain surroundings.

Steve Belz - .belz
Balancing conceptual inquiry with a strong emphasis on form, texture, and color, Belz’s work invites contemplation while remaining visually engaging. Each piece offers a nuanced reflection on humanity’s connection to—and impact on—the landscapes that surround us.

Thank you to all the talented artists, festival attendees, 100 + volunteers, our presenting sponsor - Signature Properties CB our other generous sponsors and our board of directors. This year we showcased the work of 130+ extremely talented artists at the 2026 Crested Butte Arts Festival, and WOW were we impressed by their body of work! Hope everyone enjoyed the festival as much as we did! We’ll see you all in 2027.

Who’s heading to the Crested Butte Arts Festival today? 🎨 Stroll down Elk Ave and explore incredible artwork from talented artists across every medium. From paintings and ceramics to jewelry, photography, sculpture, textiles and more. And, don’t miss the Art Auction - corner of Elk Ave. and 4th St. The auction closes today at 1pm. Auction winners can pick up their artwork between 3-5pm.

It’s finally here! The 54th Annual Crested Butte Arts Festival is kicking off tonight and we’re bursting with excitement! The artists are setting up their booths and they have such amazing artwork to share. Huge high-five to our amazing friends at Signature Properties Ebner & Associates for helping us bring this art extravaganza to life! 🙌 Festival opens at 5pm tonight. See you there.
