The club ride for this Saturday 3/14 has been moved to Waldo Lake.

Until we get another snow storm this is our only option.

We will meet at the Waldo Lake snow park at 10:00.

This is right off Hwy 58.There is no doubt this will be an adventure.

All who are brave enough are welcome!

Following the ride, we will treat our club members who participated in the ride to a feast at Manley's!

See you all Saturday at 10:00.
Let me know if you have any questions .

Hello fellow riders! We recently learned that Elk Lake is closing March 8th for the season, which means we are pivoting our March 14th ride to Timpanagos Lake. The shelter at Timoanagos has a wood stove so we can have a good warming fire.

This is a 35-40 mile ride, round trip, likely returning by 3:30. The club will bring a BBQ, food, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Due to the lower snow levels, and inability to do grooming, we are going to meet at 9:30am, at the Crescent Lake Sno-Park-- this is NOT the snowpark across the street from fire station. (See map pic).

There has not been any grooming, so the ride will be somewhat bumpy. RIders should be prepared for some bouncy bounce.

We plan on doing a scouting ride Friday the 13th, and will update with pertinent details if anything changes.

We hope to see you for this fun ride and BBQ!

Kurt & Monica are leading this ride-- reach out if you have questions.

🌨️💔 Devastating Announcement from the Walker Rim Riders Snowmobile Club 💔🌨️

Dear Members and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of both our highly anticipated Kids Snow Day event and our cherished annual Candle Lighters event. 😢❄️ This was not an easy decision for us, and we genuinely feel the weight of this loss. After much deliberation, it has become clear that the lack of snow at this time has made it impossible for us to safely host these beloved gatherings.

We know how much joy and excitement these events bring to our community, especially to our children, and it breaks our hearts to cancel them. The laughter and smiles we usually see during these special days will be deeply missed. 😔❤️

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers who put in so much time and effort to prepare for these events. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are truly thankful. 🙏

However, we are still looking forward to connecting with all of you at our club meeting scheduled for next Sunday, February 22nd, at 10 a.m. 🗓️✨ Let’s come together to discuss our next steps and share our thoughts during this tough time.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and love for our club. Together, we will navigate through this challenging season. 💪❤️

Stay safe, and we hope to see you soon!

Warm regards,

The Walker Rim Riders Snowmobile Club

The Snow is Flying and so are our new signs! ❄️✨

Today was an exhilarating day for the Walker Rim Riders Snowmobile Club! 🚀 We bundled up and hit the trails with one mission: to spread the word about our beautiful winter playground. 🏔️ We placed eye-catching signs at all the trail heads to remind everyone about the important seasonal trail closures. 🚫🌲

✨ Remember, folks: These closures help protect our trails and ensure they stay in great shape for all of us to enjoy throughout the winter! 🏂❤️ We’re counting on YOU to help keep our trails safe and pristine!

Let’s work together to make this winter unforgettable! 💪❄️ Don’t forget to respect the signs and spread the word! 🚀📣 Snag those snowmobile keys, invite your friends, and let’s ride! 🏍️💨

Happy riding, everyone! 🥳🎉

Hey there, trail enthusiasts! We all know there’s nothing quite like the joy of hitting the trails with friends—wind in your hair, the sweet scent of nature, and the occasional surprise from a squirrel thinking it’s a race day. But let’s be real, the trails don’t maintain themselves (as much as we wish they could pull off a DIY makeover). That’s where you come in!

By becoming a club member, you’re not just getting a fancy sticker for your water bottle (which let’s face it, is a trophy of sorts); you’re actually helping us keep those trails clear of rogue branches and the occasional confused deer! Your membership means we can organize more fun events, create better trails, and maybe even convince the squirrels to stop throwing acorns at us.

But wait, there’s more! (Yes, I’m channeling my inner infomercial!) We are eternally grateful for every single member of our club. Your support is what keeps us going—like caffeine for a cyclist. Plus, we’re always on the lookout for more volunteers. If you’ve ever thought about helping out, whether it’s nailing signs in the ground, becoming a crucial member of the board, or just waving enthusiastically at riders like you’re directing traffic, we’ve got a place for you!

So, don’t just sit there and hoard your energy for your next hike—join our club! Together, we can keep the trails fun, safe, and squirrel-attack-free! And who knows? You might just find a few friends along the way… or at the very least, some great stories to tell at the next gathering.

Thank you for considering it—your trails will thank you later! Now, who’s ready to sign up and make a difference (and maybe dodge some acorns)?
