⚾ Volunteers Needed for the 8U Tournament During Berry Pepper Days! ⚾

Creighton will be hosting an 8U baseball tournament June 19–20, and we're looking for community volunteers to help make it a success.

We need help with concessions, gate admissions, grilling, and other tournament duties throughout the weekend. Even if you aren't directly involved with youth baseball, we'd love your help. Every shift filled helps create a great experience for visiting players, families, and guests coming to town during Berry Pepper Days.

**Park Update**

The trees have been planted in front of the sports courts, and the sidewalks connecting the sports courts to the road are now complete.

With the volunteer help of Derek Tyler, the dirt was leveled, and crushed concrete was moved in to create parking in front of the sports courts.

Big transformation at the batting cages.

New nets and new turf are officially in, and the space is looking better than ever. These upgrades will help improve safety, durability, and the overall experience for our baseball and softball programs for years to come.

A special thank you to the Park Board, Concession Stand Fund, Legion Baseball, Little League Baseball, and Softball programs for helping make this project possible through funding and support.

Projects like this happen when organizations and community members work together.

More to come before completion, but step by step, we are getting closer to the finish line.

The new fence is up, new lights are in, and 8 Crimson Spire Oak trees have been planted on the west side of the sports court area.

In addition to over 100 hours of donated volunteer time and labor, this project is more than 80% funded through outside sources, including:

* Grants written by park board
* A Youth Involvement Grant through Nebraska Community Foundation, with a local match from Creighton Community Foundation Fund
* Business donations
* Financial contributions from individuals who believe in improving our park and community

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped move this forward. Small towns grow through people willing to step up, work together, and invest in something bigger than themselves.
