Big transformation at the batting cages.

New nets and new turf are officially in, and the space is looking better than ever. These upgrades will help improve safety, durability, and the overall experience for our baseball and softball programs for years to come.

A special thank you to the Park Board, Concession Stand Fund, Legion Baseball, Little League Baseball, and Softball programs for helping make this project possible through funding and support.

Projects like this happen when organizations and community members work together.

🚨 Water Conservation Notice – City of Creighton 🚨

Due to a local fire emergency in Creighton, residents are asked to please conserve water until further notice. Reducing water usage helps maintain adequate water pressure and supply for emergency response efforts.

Please avoid:
💧 Lawn watering
💧 Washing vehicles
💧 Running unnecessary water
💧 Other non-essential water use

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and support as emergency personnel respond to the situation. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Thank you,
City of Creighton

More to come before completion, but step by step, we are getting closer to the finish line.

The new fence is up, new lights are in, and 8 Crimson Spire Oak trees have been planted on the west side of the sports court area.

In addition to over 100 hours of donated volunteer time and labor, this project is more than 80% funded through outside sources, including:

* Grants written by park board
* A Youth Involvement Grant through Nebraska Community Foundation, with a local match from Creighton Community Foundation Fund
* Business donations
* Financial contributions from individuals who believe in improving our park and community

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped move this forward. Small towns grow through people willing to step up, work together, and invest in something bigger than themselves.

Does anyone have old toys collecting dust that they’d be willing to donate to the little sandboxes at the Creighton Park baseball fields?

Toy trucks, buckets, shovels, dinosaurs, sand toys, or other outdoor-friendly toys would all be loved by the kids.

Feel free to drop donations off at the upper or lower field sandboxes pictured below, send us a message on here, or contact Sarah for pickup.

Thank you for helping make the ballfields a little more fun for the little ones.
