Wilderness Ranch - A Young Life Camp

Wilderness Ranch - A Young Life Camp Since 1973, we have been taking kids hiking in the spectacular mountains of Colorado.

Wilderness Ranch is located in a remote valley of the San Juan Mountains near Creede, Colo. Adventure trips in the Colorado Rocky Mountains allow kids to get away from the noise, clutter and distractions of daily life. Gaining a fresh perspective, they may clearly hear and see the good news for their lives.

Day 1 of Art of Guiding is wrapping up! Got to start the day hearing from the Tingles about soul care and the importance of discipline and discipleship, then Ashley Denton set up the heart of a guide through the theology of shepherding and the outcomes of healthy wilderness ministry. It was a full day of learning in the classroom, and we’re so grateful for the amazing teachers who have come alongside us to partner and encourage this guide team!

Two key summer roles are still open at Wilderness Ranch! ☀️🏔️

We’re hiring a Food Service Manager and a Maintenance Technician — seasonal positions that are absolutely integral to the leadership, productivity, and ministry of camp. These teams help create the space where campers can fully experience adventure, community, and the Lord.

From the kitchen to the shop, faithful, servant-hearted leaders behind the scenes make everything on the front lines possible.

Would you join us in praying that God would bring the right people to serve this summer? And if someone comes to mind, tag them or share this post.

We’re looking for the right person to join our Wilderness Ranch Maintenance Team for the season. 🛠️🌲

This seasonal role plays a big behind-the-scenes part in keeping camp running smoothly so that kids, staff, and volunteers can experience all that God is doing here in the mountains. If you love hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a close-knit camp community, this might be a great fit.
