Montgomery County Community Foundation

Montgomery County Community Foundation MCCF has invested over $33 million in Montgomery County, IN. Join us as we look forward & give back! We live here. We know our community. We will be here forever.

For over 30 years, MCCF has been working to build bridges to support the future of Montgomery County. All of this has been made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors, who establish or donate to endowed funds. MCCF holds over 240 of these funds, each with a specific purpose to benefit Montgomery County. The funds are invested and earnings are returned to our community in the form of grant

s to nonprofit organizations and scholarships to local students. Our staff and Board of Directors work hard to ensure that every contribution has the biggest impact. We know that charitable giving is a personal choice; MCCF can offer the guidance and information needed to make your charitable goals a reality. In addition, we offer many resources for both students and nonprofit organizations. To learn more, visit www.mccf-in.org.

Each year Hoosier Heartland State Bank employees are nominated by their coworkers for three awards: a Mission Award, a Vision Award, and a Values Award. Finalists in each category then select a Heartstring Charity to receive a gift in honor of that employee.

We are honored that Caryn Heisel selected us as her organization! As first runner-up for the Vision Award, MCCF received $5,000 in her honor. Caryn directed her gift to the newly established Durham Foundation Community Child Care Assistance Pass-Through Fund, which supports local child care providers.

In all, HHSB distributed a record $75,000 to local nonprofit organizations at their celebration. Thank you to HHSB for investing in our community and thanks to Caryn for modeling the bank’s mission of giving back.

Fun fact: HHSB has also awarded over $140,000 in grants and scholarships from their funds here at MCCF!
