πŸŽ‰ πŸ€ONE MONTH TO GO!πŸ€ πŸŽ‰

The countdown is on! In just ONE MONTH, the Montgomery County 4-H Fair kicks off and we can't wait to celebrate this year's theme:

πŸ„πŸŽ‚ America's Barnyard Birthday Bash! πŸŽ‚πŸ–

From rodeos and carnival rides to foam parties, car shows, worship night, pet parades, yard games, and more, the first weekend of fair week is packed with fun for the entire family!

But the fair is about more than just the activities. Throughout the week, our Montgomery County 4-H members will be showcasing the projects and livestock they've spent months working on. Their hard work, dedication, and growth are what make our fair so special. πŸ’šπŸ€

Whether you're coming for the family fun, to support a 4-H member, or both, there's something for everyone at the Montgomery County 4-H Fair!

πŸ‘‡ Tell us in the comments:
What are you most excited about this year's fair?

πŸŽ‰ Exciting News for Our 4-H Community! πŸŽ‰

Thanks to a YES (Youth Engaged Service) Grant from the Indiana 4-H Foundation, our local 4-H program has added a variety of new games and activities for members, families, and fair visitors to enjoy!

YES Grants provide funding for Indiana youth in grades 7–12 to identify a community need and develop a youth-led service project to address it. We are proud to recognize Laine Bronaugh, who recently received a YES Grant for his project, "Connecting the Community."

Through this project, Laine purchased games and activities designed to bring people together and create more opportunities for fun and connection at the fair and throughout the year at 4-H events.

In May, our amazing Junior Leaders helped assemble and test the new equipment. Early favorites included pickleball and the gaga ball pit!

Be sure to check out these new activities at the fair this year:
πŸ“ Pickleball
⚽ Gaga Ball Pit
πŸ€ Basketball Hoops with basketballs in three sizes
🏐 4-Square Volleyball Net
⚾ Wiffle Ball Set
🎲 Yard Dice
πŸͺ΅ Giant Jenga
🟒 Outdoor Connect 4
β• Giant Tic-Tac-Toe & Bean Bag Toss Games
🎯 Jumbo Pull N Plunk
🎲 Tenzi Dice Game (for 10–12 players)

A huge congratulations and thank you to Laine for his leadership and commitment to strengthening our 4-H community. We can't wait to see everyone enjoying these new activities at the fair and future 4-H events!
