First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to our amazing Bosque County Dispatchers who are always behind the scenes keeping everything organized, getting the right resources where they need to be, and looking out for our responders. ❤️

This fire ended up burning approximately 25 acres, but it absolutely could have been so much worse. I am incredibly thankful for every one of these men and women who volunteer their time to protect our communities. For many of them, this was probably the remainder of their one rest day before heading back to work tomorrow, and instead they spent it in the Texas heat fighting a fire to protect someone else's property and community. That kind of service and sacrifice deserves recognition.
❤️ Thank you to every firefighter, dispatcher, EMS crew member, and agency that answered the call today. Mutual aid works, and today was another great example of departments coming together when they are needed. We appreciate you more than you know! 🚒
