Reminder to Grades 3-8!

Award winning Author and Cartoonist, Mike Dawson, will be visiting our District on November 12th.

Some of his works include The Fifth Quarter graphic novel series as well as The Hidden Dominion of Geordie James. His comics have appeared in The New Yorker, Slate, Romper, and frequently within the pages of The New York Times.

On November 12th, Mr. Dawson will be doing some interactive drawing with our students during the assemblies and hosting a cartooning workshop for those students interested in learning more about telling stories through pictures.

If you are interested in purchasing one of his books and having it autographed, please complete this order form and return to Beth Flores in the Elementary Library by October 20th: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H6g4ktrK20ZhmQ01VynPfpcF9_oF6b1SoGzdjZzicY0/edit?usp=sharing

We have exciting news!
Books On Wheels is returning this MONDAY!

We are so excited to bring one of our favorite programs back. We will be moved to every other Monday starting 10/5

Our team has been working hard to go through our books and have also purchased some surprises from our last book fair!

Our mission is to instill a love of reading in the children in the elementary school!
All books cost only .25 no matter how new they are!
For grades 2-6 we will have some halloween themed trinkets as well! As we progress into to the school year, trinkets maybe introduced to the younger kids. We want them to get used to the big changes of school before adding too much.

Everything will be low cost, so make sure to send in the kids with their change.

We need Volunteers!!! Sign up using the link below.
