Today the RI Department of Education is recognizing Isaura's learning in ILSR English classes!

Adult Learner Spotlight: Initially enrolled in the Rhode Island Institute for Labor Studies & Research's Evening Beginner ESOL class, Isaura is now enrolled in an Intermediate Level ESOL Class as a result of her advances in reading comprehension. Isaura attends English classes at the Pawtucket Public Library, although the class is currently offered online via Zoom. She studies on Mondays and Thursdays after work (from 6-8 pm) with ESOL Instructor David Buchalter, and also attends Conversation Class on Tuesday evenings for additional speaking practice. She loves learning and hopes to continue improving her English language proficiency so that she can communicate more effectively at work and in the community. Keep up the great work Isaura! RI Ilsr
