🔥 Looking for real adventure for your daughter? 🏕️
Troop 42 is open to girls ages 11–17.

They’ll build fires, hike mountains, paddle rivers, sleep under the stars, learn to cook outdoors, and try things they’ve never done before — all with a supportive group of friends.

It’s more than outdoor skills. Scouts builds independence, confidence, friendship, and the belief that she can handle whatever comes next.

No experience required. Just a willingness to try something new.

🏕️ Camp Yawgoog 2026 was a huge success!

7 scouts. 19 merit badges earned, and 3 rank advancements. Countless memories made!

Proud of these scouts for working hard, having fun, and making the most of every day at camp! A great time was had by all! 🔥

The Camp Yawgoog Sandy Beach Bake-Off is a favorite for Troop 42! 🏰🎂

This year’s theme was Fantasy, and our scouts got creative with a beautiful castle cake! Their hard work earned them 2nd place! 🥈

Week 7 at Camp Yawgoog is off to a great start! Our Scouts are diving into new experiences and earning merit badges, including Swimming and Textiles! 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🪡

Plus a fun campfire last night! 🔥

Tonight, the young ladies of Troop 42 attended the Cranston City Council meeting as part of earning their Communications merit badge.

The scouts were honored to lead everyone present in the Pledge of Allegiance before the meeting began. We are proud of their leadership, confidence, and commitment to learning more about civic engagement and public service!
