HISTORY MADE.
This is a HUGE deal for Edgewood Cheer! We just made history as the first Edgewood youth rec team to cross over into All Star cheer.
Back in May, we competed at one of the four One Prime Finals. After the season, they tally the championship scores from all four finals across the country and determine one Global Champion.
And that Global Champion is…

We are beyond proud of this team, our coaches, and everyone who helped make this moment possible. This is a major accomplishment and a huge moment for Edgewood Cheer. 🦅💚🖤🏆

This past weekend, we celebrated an incredible season with our Edgewood family and over 400 guests in attendance!

A huge thank you to Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick (Airport) for hosting us, Michelle Rojas for the beautiful decor, and Brown Gregory / Shed Side Music for keeping the music going all night!

🏆 What a season it was for Edgewood! 🏆

🏈 Football
All of our football teams made it to the playoffs, with two teams going on to win the RISMA Championship and competing for a Regional title!

📣 Cheer
Our cheer program had an unforgettable season from top to bottom:

💚Tiny Mite gave the cutest exhibition at our State Competition!

💚Mitey Mite were RISMA State Champions, Queen City Crown Champions, placed 3rd at YCADA Globals, and 3rd at Bring It!

💚Junior P*e Wee were RISMA, Regional, and National Champions! They extended their season by earning 2nd at YCADA Globals, winning their division at Bring It Cheer Comp, earning a bid to The One Prime Finals in Orlando, and bringing home 1st place!

💚Junior Varsity 1 were RISMA State Champions, Regional Runner-Ups, and had a Hit Zero performance at Nationals!

💚Junior Varsity 4 were RISMA and Regional Champions, National Runner-Ups, and placed 3rd at YCADA Globals!

💚Varsity were RISMA State Champions, Regional and National Runner-Ups, earned 2nd at YCADA Globals, and won their division at Bring It Cheer Comp! They also earned a bid to The One Prime Finals, but unfortunately were unable to make the trip due to prior commitments.

We are so proud of every athlete, coach, volunteer, and family member who helped make this season so successful. We’re looking forward to another amazing year of continuing the winning tradition with honesty, integrity, and Edgewood pride.
