The Northeast District serves the communities of Mansfield, Norton, Attleboro, North Attleborough, Taunton, Raynham, Dighton, Rehoboth, Middleboro, Carver, Lakeville, Berkley, and Freetown. This page serves as a communication board, reminder for upcoming events, and a connection to other Scouting leaders in your local towns. A great turnout for this season’s NARRAGANSETT COUNCIL Fishing Derby 🎣. The fish were biting both little and large off the Ft. Tabor pier. 🐟🐡

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the Stars and Stripes and the values it represents. Freedom, service, and unity. Looking at these young Scouts proudly holding our flag reminds us that the future of our nation is bright when we invest in the next generation of leaders, citizens, and servants.

Happy Flag Day, and may we always honor those who have defended the freedoms our flag proudly represents. 🇺🇸⚜️

Norton’s Scouts BSA ⚜️ Troop 12 launched four new Eagle Scouts 🦅 into the world to share their leadership with us.
Congratulations Jon S., Ben S., James C., and Andrew S. on your great achievement. We’re proud to have witnessed your ascension to this rank.

A little “liquid sunshine” wasn’t going to dampen the spirit of Memorial Day in Norton, MA today. 🇺🇸 While the parade moved indoors, the pride, patriotism, and community spirit were stronger than ever.

It was wonderful to see the Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Daisies, Brownies, Girl Scouts, and Nuggets all out in full force, representing the very best our youth can be. Their smiles, energy, and respect for the day reminded us that the future of our community is bright. ⚜️🇺🇸

Today, we gathered not only in celebration of community, but in reverence and gratitude for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day. May we never forget their courage, service, and selflessness. 🪖🎖️💝

What an incredible evening at the NARRAGANSETT COUNCIL’S NE DISTRICT Recognition Dinner! 🏕️✨

54 Scouters and guests gathered together last night to celebrate another impactful year of Scouting and recognize the dedicated leaders who help shape the lives of our youth every day. 👏🇺🇸

A special thank you to Tasty Ray’s Catering 🍽️ for a wonderful meal.

Eighteen awards were presented, ranging from the Golden Spark Plug Awards ⚡ to the prestigious District Award of Merit 🏅. Pictured are a few of our outstanding Scouters from Norton, Attleboro, and North Attleborough.

The NE DISTRICT proudly serves 13 communities with:
• 747 Scouts
• 41 units
• 389 dedicated Scouters

Thank you to everyone who continues to make Scouting strong throughout our communities! ⚜️

NARRAGANSETT COUNCIL’S
NE DISTRICT conducted an Eagle Court of Honor on Tue., May 5, 2026 at the Attleboro District Courthouse. Nine Scouts were recognized and awarded Scouts BSA’s highest honor……
The Eagle Scout award!
These Scout were guided up the trail to the Eagle’s Nest by both Scouters and family.
