SEPTEMBER 19TH, 2026 BBQ, will we see you?
This year, our fundraising efforts will be focused on multiple children in need. Instead of focusing on one child, we aim to help many. We have spoken to a few potential recipients, and they have all made the same statement, "I'd rather the help go to someone else who may have greater needs". Children and families may not need a large item, but just a smaller item not covered by insurance that could improve their daily quality of life. So this year, even though we don't have a child's specific story to spotlight, know we are going to be helping multiple children.
For years we have had the community support that is needed, and we hope that this continues. If anyone, or any business would like to help and support us, we are accepting gift certificates and raffle items for this event.
Our Miller's Crossing Annual BBQ Cookoff event is September 19th, 2026 at Miller's Crossing Ri in Cranston. We hope to see you there.

This year, our fundraising efforts will be focused on multiple children in need. Instead of focusing on one child, we aim to help many. Today we were able to get a long awaited (a year and a half) vehicle for Jacob. This beats all the Uber rides needed for Drs appointments. Will be better and safer for Jacob, and easier for his mom Maya, to get around town and the state for all his appointments.

A week ago, we had the pleasure of furnishing Josie and her parents with a check to mobility works to help purchase a van for for Josie. It wouldn't have been possible without all the help and support from all our supporters.
