True story from the Parade Route - Yesterday during the West Warwick Parade there were these 3 young (looked to be around 12 yrs old) boys riding along with us during the parade on bicycles. They were next to and just behind us and not being disruptive or bothersome. They were quite polite.

As you have all seen, a parade is very stop and go. During one stop point I hear one of the boys say to his buddies “Hey, do you think we should join the Shriners when we turn 80 ?”

Of course this makes me laugh. This now gives me the chance to say something to them. “Absolutely! You should definitely join the Shriners when you turn 80”. He then politely asks “What’s a Shriner?”. I spent the next minute or so trying to give the boys a concise but informative answer. They were genuinely interested in what we do.

This quick interaction made my day And is why we are out here doing what we do (and of course Mini Cars)
