The THANK YOUS persist! 💜

In appreciation of one of Cranford's esteemed organizations….The Jaycees! They are an exceptional group of individuals accountable for numerous events in town, ultimately contributing to their charitable endeavors.
They plan some of Cranford’s best events such as the River cleanup, Oktoberfest, Father’s day fishing derby, and the Firecracker 4 miler and fun run. They also are a strong leader in providing college scholarships/trade scholarships to our CHS students, with over $55,000 this year alone! We appreciate their support for all things Cranford, including our Relay community 💜 Thank you for your donation to ACS Cranford Jaycees!!

Still need to give a BIG thanks to the following:

Our Survivor dinner is one of our signature events that happens during our Relay, by invite only to all who have battled this beast and want to acknowledge their 'win.' A quiet and safe spot to take part in as much or as little of Relay as they want to… But in order to make this dinner possible, we need to ask for help with sponsorships, and our town always comes through in a big, big way! We had over 70 guests this year who enjoyed a wonderful dinner, beverages, snacks, and dessert provided by the following businesses...

'The Garlic Rose', simply the most generous and supportive restaurant in town 💖
'The Gourmet Deli', can't have our dinner without his delicious angel hair pasta salad.
'Mr. J's', with thanks again for his sweet and generous donation.
'Sweet and Fancy', always, always, always our love with all of our purple heart!
'Anonymous', our baker with the biggest heart.
'Sweet Stuff', our very own Lisa Papa, who handmakes her chocolate treats for us.
'TAPinto Cranford', who generously sponsored a portion of our wonderful dinner.
'FLAG of Cranford', who writes a check to the businesses in town that we support in return by ordering from them.
'Cranford Woman's Club', who kindly supported our dinner by paying for the local businesses that provided the food, flowers, and necessities to make our dinner a success.

And the biggest thanks to 'Bosom Buddies', who lost one of their hero warriors this past year and wanted to honor her by participating and sponsoring a portion of our dinner. She was and still is a big part of Relay, and a true blessing to us all as she showed herself all night long 💖

The Thank Yous continue!

One of our most special elements of our Relay is our Survivors Dinners gift to our guests. They usually feature an ACS element paired with something personally homemade, from a friend or organization, which shows the warmth and kindness that makes our Cranford Community shine! This year, this special gift came from a special friend who insists on staying anonymous… but she needs to know they were beautiful, loved, and very much appreciated! I promised no names, but the picture might give her away😉🥰, so please reach out with a great big Relay acknowledgement and another big “Thank You” for her kindness, and a 💜 for her support and generosity. Our sincerest gratitude to a very sweet and special individual!! ♥️

SO EXCITED to share this Relay for Life/ACS fundraiser! I had the pleasure of designing these with Marcy Duarte, and I am indebted and grateful for her expertise, dedication and support. They are each a different scent and smell AMAZING! They make the perfect end of school year gift, or offer a much needed show of support, or even just a special gift to one’s self. Each comes with a thoughtful little token included! These lovelies will also be available for purchase at The Curious Heart in downtown Cranford or I will personally hand deliver locally. The Thank Yous continue! 💜

We have so many 'silent' helpers who don't want accolades; they just want to donate and help. One of our 'coolest' helpers is Carlos Aponte, owner of Cool Cubes. This year, he was a true hero as it was extremely hot and our Survivor's Dinners cake was about to melt, but Carlos came to the rescue! He delivered bags and bags of ice for a giant cooler that kept our cake from melting. He also donated even more ice to keep all the drinks cold throughout the evening. We truly appreciate you, Carlos, and insist on recognizing your contribution and your kindness; we're thankful for special people like you in our community. As the season of parties starts up - BBQs, pool parties, graduations, weddings - and you need ice delivered locally for free with no minimum, consider using Cool Cubes for their reliable services. Thank you again, Carlos💜
