Today we pay tribute to Brittney Beadle and the courage, resilience, and light she brought into this world.

Diagnosed with breast cancer at 18 years old on the night of her senior prom, and with metastatic breast cancer just one month later on the day of her high school graduation, Brittney spent the next 11 years showing the world that life is for living. She faced each day with remarkable strength, spreading positivity, hope, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Brittney deserved more time.

As we remember her today, we honor the impact she made, the lives she touched, and the legacy she leaves behind. May we continue to advocate, raise awareness, and push for the research that will one day end deaths from metastatic breast cancer.

Rest in peace, Brittney. Your light will continue to shine.

The 4th Midland Park Color Walk was a huge success with over 580 participants attending, raising over $75,000 to fund Stage 4, metastatic breast cancer research through METAvivor Research and Support Inc.

What started as one race in a small town became a template for other races around the country. We have themed walks happening this year in NJ, PA, IL, FL, NY, MD and more are still being added. Breast cancer survivors, thrivers and families gathered to support one another on this journey and so much strength was felt through the power of community.

Special thanks to the amazing Event Host Tara Kuipers, who had an idea and literally ran with it. We are so grateful for all the sponsors, donors and partners who made this incredible day possible!

If you would like to host a themed Walk in your community, DM us to learn how!

This is Tara. This is strength. This is hope.
πŸ’šπŸ’—πŸ’™

Just after her 38th birthday, Tara Kuipers discovered a lump after months of unexplained pain. Soon after, she received the devastating news that she had Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. The disease had already spread to her neck, shoulders, liver, and chest, and emergency spinal surgery was needed after tumors shattered portions of her spine.

Yet Tara refused to let her diagnosis define her.

Five years later, Tara is still here. Still thriving. Still showing up. ❀️

And she has turned her diagnosis into action.

As the Founder of the Midland Park Color Fun Walk, Tara and her community have raised more than $350,000 for metastatic breast cancer research benefiting METAvivor. Her race has been used as a model of success that has inspired walks in many areas of the country, with at least 8 more Color Walks happening this year!

πŸ’š Join Tara and her community this Sunday at the 4th Annual Midland Park Color Walk. DM us if you would like to host a walk in your town! We provide training and resources.

Come celebrate life, spread hope, honor loved ones, and help fund the research that gives families more time.

Before Jessica Moore passed, she told her best friend Laura Inahara how cool it would be to see a famous landmark lit up in MBC colors. That's all it took.

One simple fleeting thought that turned into an international movement. This past October, touched over 300 landmarks. Lights beaming up to the sky for their entire towns and cities to see. Shining so bright to remember that for every Jessica there is a Laura, and every Laura will do anything in the world, for the world, for a friend.
