August 15 2023 attended the city of Craig city council meeting. Engineers present to discuss the progress of the grant to rebuild the existing levee, culverts and flood gates. Looking at a January deadline to officially start the bid process for contractors, locate approved dirt and a complete engineer plan in place . Pumps are not a part of the engineering plans therefore, funds will need to be raised to purchase electric pumps to help keep the city dry in the event of water intake !

Another round table discussion regarding funding available for Holt County and the date of disaster for the City of Craig . 2019 Flood disaster funds will need to be applied for before July 1, 2022.
