March 1964 - June 2025

After many months of delaying this unwanted outcome, the Crab Orchard - MacArthur Lions Club’s time has come to an end. We are officially closing the club at the end of this month. The club has served Crab Orchard, MacArthur, and other surrounding areas for 61 years.

We are proud of all that our club has done over the years and would like to encourage you to support (join) your local Lions Clubs and other service organizations. These volunteer groups play important roles, and too many of them are struggling to survive.

Our club welcomed the chance to send supplies to storm victims in the Asheville, NC area today.

We’d like to thank Kayla Epling, Derek Kincaid, and Lewis Nissan in providing the opportunity to do so.

We thank the lions club of Crab Orchard and MacArthur for their donations today!

We will be doing some road cleanup along Glenview Rd (Old Route 54) this Saturday, 10/05/2024, from 8:00am until finished (probably 2-3 hours). Please be wary of our volunteers beside the road during this time. Additional volunteers are welcome!

We appreciate DG Jeff Finch and PDG Carla Graley Finch for attending our meeting this evening and showing their support for us. Unfortunately, we did not think to take any photos for our FB page. We were also happy to have a new prospective member at our meeting. We are looking forward to having her at future meetings and welcome other interested people to contact us if you are interested in joining a community service based volunteer group.
