We're still watching wind conditions for the balloon glow and tethered rides, if winds come down for sure a go. The gusts and winds aloft are the major factor.

Looking at weather and spoke to weather service - I do think we can do some tethering and glows.

There is still a strong likelihood of storms in the area between 3-7pm. So we will need to keep a close eye on things and make many last minute decisions. Sunset is 9:14pm.

Balloonists will plan to meet at the airport over by the trailers around 6:15pm. I think we can do some tethering between 7:30-9:15 with a glow 8:45-9:45 or so depending on how winds actually turn out.

Winds and weather are looking more and more favorable for free flying on Sunday morning!

Hot air Balloon Updates from the Balloon Meister:

Due to wind conditions, the balloon glow for Friday evening and flights for Saturday morning are cancelled.

We are hopeful that weather will allow flights, balloon glow and tethered rides Saturday evening.

Sunday morning also is looking favorable for balloon flights.
