Blessing Box users: the purpose of the Blessing Boxes are to take one or two items and leave a Blessing when you can. It’s not about doing your grocery shopping at the box. Less than 20 minutes the box was empty. There is no way 50 plus people went to the box to get item of food in the short period of time. I consider that theft. We do know who’s doing it, so please stop.

The Blessing Box located downtown will be taken down temporarily starting Wednesday for a facelift.

Please pray for the Blessing Boxes. Funds are getting limited. If you have it on your heart to donate place non-perishable items in box or send a monetary donation to Blessing Box at Cozad United Methodist Church.

Please be cautious when placing fresh items in the Blessing Boxes. The boxes don’t get checked on a regular basis and items may spoil. Dented cans on the seal can’t be placed in box. Also, please don’t place stained clothing in the box or decorations. The boxes are for basic needs like food, toiletries, and other basic needs. I’m ok with a few books, because there is homeless that travel through asking if we have a book box, where they can exchange books. If someone requires a basic need of clothing, and shoes, please reach out to Michelle at 308-325-5921 by text or voicemail. Thank you for your cooperation!

JR and I went to do our weekly filling of the Blessing Boxes today. I was simply astonished that they were almost bare.

Thank you to ALL the donors of this mission! I want to thank God for putting this mission on the hearts of so many! I thank God for providing food. God is good!

We were able to fill the boxes 100% full and have extra to fill in the future.

The end of the month is approaching quickly. Food, supplies and monetary means are low for this local mission. To maintain a full blessing box, it takes our community to keep it full. Please consider placing a donation in the boxes. If you are uncomfortable placing items in the boxes, donations can be dropped off at Charitable Funds of Cozad( old United Way), Cozad United Methodist Church or contact us to make special arrangements. Monetary donations are also accepted and we will do the shopping for you. Five dollars can go a long way for food and supplies. Please consider a donation to support this local mission in Cozad.

Thank you for your consideration!

Take a blessing when needed and leave a blessing when you can.
