Our 1st Annual Cozad Battle at the Bases Softball Tournament is coming up May 16–17, and we’re excited to see the interest already rolling in!

We are still accepting teams in the following divisions!

🥎 8U- Saturday play only!
🥎 14U
🥎 18U

🏆 1st place teams in each division will receive Championship Rings!

📅 Tournament Date: May 16–17
💲 Team Entry Fee: $275
🎟 Gate Fee: $5 (ages 5+)

This will be a great weekend of softball in Cozad, and spots in the remaining divisions are limited, so be sure to get your team registered soon!

Sanctioned Tournament!

*2 umpires on the field (1 with 8u)

*Championship Rings for 1st place teams in EVERY age division

*On-site screen printing so players and families can create custom tournament shirts

*Pre-order tournament shirts available

*Raffles throughout the day

*Low entry fee to keep it affordable for teams

*Camper sites available in town

*Hotel blocks reserved for traveling teams 8U and 10U divisions will be ONE DAY ONLY — Saturday play! Perfect for teams looking for competitive games without the full weekend commitment. Come enjoy great competition, a fun atmosphere, and a well-run tournament in Cozad!

Thank you to everybody that came out tonight for our Classics informational meeting. We were able to get some new young Classics registered! Another successful night! If you were unable to make it, please reach out!

Our first clinic was a SUCCESS!! We had a wonderful turnout for both morning and afternoon sessions and the pitching/catching session! 40 girls, 15+ coaches/volunteers (including Cozad High School coaches and alum). We did drills, worked on skills and most of all had fun! Thank you for all the support from the local businesses , the Cozad Community Schools and Cozad Wellness Center!

Cozad is proud to host our FIRST-EVER Fastpitch Softball Tournament at our brand-new 4-Plex fields right here in town!

We’re excited to welcome teams from all over Nebraska for a weekend of great competition, community pride, and fastpitch fun!

The Cozad Classics are growing, and we’re inviting the next generation of players to be part of it. This softball clinic is all about learning, confidence, and having fun on the field while being coached by people who love the game and this community. Whether your player is just getting started or looking to take the next step, this is a great way to build skills and connect with other athletes in the area.
