Late in posting...

The Coldspring Copperheads 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on Sunday, April 12 at The Green Works.

After the business portion of the meeting four members gave their speeches (sorry...no pictures).
Boone talked about duroc pigs.
Nolan gave his speech on his dog.
Barrett talked about his satin buck.
Isabelle gave a speech on livestock judging.

During the cloverbud meeting speeches were given by Jaclyn S and Ava M.

All members got to enjoy dirt pudding for snack that had different ingredients to represent the different layers of soil. They also made seed starters.

Shelby County 4-H Cloverbuds . . .

Here is a workshop just for you!

Join in on the fun at the 4-H Cloverbud Fire-Up Workshop on Saturday, April 25, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at the 4-H Center.

Cloverbuds will have the opportunity to explore a variety of 4-H projects through hands-on activities, all led by Shelby County 4-H Federation members. This workshop is designed to be fun, engaging, and a great introduction to the many opportunities 4-H offers.

Parents are welcome to stay, but it is not required.

🕘 Time: 9:00–11:00 a.m.

Make sure to bring gloves, rakes, etc to help with spring clean-up! There is plenty of work to do, so the more help that is there the better!

4-H Families . . . .

Spring Clean-up Day at the Shelby County Junior Fairgrounds is being planned for 6 p.m. on Monday, March 30.

We will be picking up sticks, raking leaves, doing repairs, painting, etc. Bring rakes, shovels, leaf blowers, etc. This will count as a county activity for 4-H members and will also count on year-end records. Be sure to sign-in with Yolanda when you arrive near the fair office.
