🎉 SAVE THE DATE! 🎉

For the past 10 years, we have had the incredible privilege of watching God do what only He can do.

From a small seed of a dream and a meeting at the local library...
To serving nearly 20% of the pregnant women in our county.

From a humble three-room house...
To an almost 3,000-square-foot center dedicated to serving women and families.

From one Executive Director...
To a faithful team of five staff members and countless volunteers and supporters.

Our anniversary theme comes from Psalm 146:5:

"Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God."

Our hope is sure—not because of circumstances, but because God is faithful.

He was faithful.
He is faithful.
He will be faithful.

As we celebrate 10 years of ministry, we'll look back with gratitude at all God has done and look ahead with confidence for all He will continue to do.

Caring Pathways is seeking a ministry-minded leader to serve as Executive Director of our pregnancy resource center in Butts County.

This is more than a job—it’s a calling. We are looking for someone who has a heart for women and families facing unplanned pregnancies, a passion for sharing the hope of Jesus Christ, and a desire to lead a ministry that offers compassion, truth, and practical support.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Christian leader, committed to the sanctity of human life, able to build relationships in our community, and excited to help advance the mission of Caring Pathways.

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3–4)

Paul didn’t know Leah Barnett when he penned these words. After all, he was writing to the Philippian church, urging them toward unity, selflessness, and Christ-like love.

But if he had known Leah, maybe he would have written something like this:

You know your sister, Leah? Be like her.
Show up faithfully each week. Serve hard and quietly for the sake of others—and for the sake of Christ. Don’t seek the spotlight; let everything you do point back to Him. ✨

He might have gone on to say how Leah finds joy in serving, how she prays bold prayers believing God for the impossible, and how she always seems to have just the right encouraging word at just the right time. 🙏💛

Well, Paul didn’t know Leah. But we do—and she has been such a beautiful example to follow.

We can’t follow her to Birmingham (though some of us wish we could). Instead, we will cheer her on, maybe shed a few tears, and keep the door wide open—because Alabama isn’t that far, and she’s already promised she’ll be back. 🚗💙

We love you, Leah. Thank you for all the years you have poured yourself into NPRC. This isn’t goodbye… it’s “see you later.” 🤍

Can you tell we've been busy beautifying this place lately? 🌿✨

So many generous people have stepped up to help, and we want to give a shout-out to each one!

One of those special volunteers is Mary Kathryn. While meeting with clients here at the center, she noticed that our space could use a little more greenery and cheer. Without hesitation, she volunteered to create beautiful outdoor potted arrangements and add indoor plants throughout the building.

And just look at the result! 🌱💚

Mary Kathryn truly has a green thumb, but even more than that, she has a servant's heart. Her thoughtful touch has made our center more welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful for every woman and family who walks through our doors.

A huge THANK YOU to Church 213 for blessing Newton Pregnancy Resource Center in such a special way! ❤️

This amazing team went above and beyond, investing countless hours to completely refresh and revamp our Client Room. From the big details to the little touches, they transformed the space into a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for the women we serve.

That matters more than you know. Many women walk through our doors for the first time feeling anxious, uncertain, and overwhelmed. A peaceful, inviting space helps communicate something important before a single word is spoken: "You are welcome here. You are safe here. You are valued here."

Church 213, thank you for your servant hearts, your generosity, and your willingness to use your time and talents to serve others. The impact of your work will be felt by hundreds of women and families in the years to come.

We never think it will happen to us.

We try to do all the right things, say all the right things, pray all the right things. And still, our children falter.

Of course, if we’re honest, we falter too.

Is there really a way to get everything right? Of course not. We simply do our best.

Grace.

We are all recipients of grace. And because of that, we are called to lavish grace on others. When people hurt us, disappoint us, or derail the plans we had for them — grace.

Especially when it is our children.

Grace upon grace upon grace.

Here at the pregnancy center, I have seen the power of lavish grace. And I have seen the destruction that comes from fierce condemnation.

I have seen a mother hold her frightened daughter and gently encourage her to choose life. Without that support, that daughter would have aborted her baby.

And I have seen a mother berate her daughter and insist abortion was the only option. Fearful of facing motherhood alone, the daughter reluctantly agreed.

Mothers. Grandmothers. Fathers. Boyfriends. Friends.

Our voices matter.

We do not get to “sit this one out” simply because we are not the ones who are pregnant. Leaving a woman alone to carry the weight of a life-or-death decision is not compassion.

Grace says:
“I’m here.”
“You can do this.”
“Your baby has a future.”
“Let me help you carry the weight.”

And then grace does exactly that.

So if you are a mother, father, grandparent, boyfriend, or friend reading this, my prayer for you is this:

If your world is ever shaken by an unexpected pregnancy, lavish grace.

The same grace that has been lavished on you.

Because sometimes, it truly is life or death.
