Today, IRIS Cares had the beautiful privilege of bringing the kids from **San Antonio Elementary School** to Jollibee — and what a joyful, unforgettable day it was. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement reminded us why we do what we do.

Seeing them enjoy a simple meal, celebrate together, and feel loved even for a moment is a blessing we will always treasure. These children carry so much hope, strength, and light — and we are grateful to be part of their journey, even in small ways.

Thank you to everyone who supports IRIS Cares— most especially to my daughter Ashley Lockwood. Your kindness makes days like this possible. Together, we can continue to share God’s love, one child, one meal, one smile at a time. ❤️🙏

Earlier this year, IRIS Cares launched a Bible Drive for kids in the Philippines with a simple but meaningful goal: to place God's Word into the hands of young hearts to learn and grow in their faith.

I'm so proud to see the students from IRIS Cares-sponsored schools receive their Bibles in preparation for the Bible Quiz Bee. Thank you to our generous donors whose gifts are helping bring God's Word into the hands and hearts of these kids.

We are also grateful to our partner schools, teachers, and volunteers who helped distribute the Bibles and encourage students to participate. Together, we are investing in the spiritual growth of the next generation.

IRIS Cares School Supply Drive— Heartfelt Update

Sometimes the most meaningful moments come from the quiet victories — the ones that start with a simple act of generosity and end with a child feeling seen, supported, and hopeful.

This year, because of you, that’s exactly what happened.

What began as a mission to meet the needs of one school grew into something bigger. Your kindness didn’t just help us reach our goal — it pushed us past it. And because of that, we were able to open our arms a little wider.

Your generosity allowed us to expand our support to San Enrique Elementary School, reaching 14 additional children who hadn’t expected to be included.

You helped us provide school supplies, rain coats, and umbrellas for 31 students, and PE uniforms for 28 kids, giving them the confidence to show up, participate, and feel like they belong.

And in a gesture that will help protect and support the school for years to come, we were able to donate a CCTV system to San Enrique Elementary, helping create a safer environment for students and staff.

These aren’t just numbers.
They’re children.
They’re stories.
Their future is now brighter because you chose to care.

Thank you for believing in this mission, for lifting up these kids, and for proving once again that when community comes together, incredible things happen.

A Grateful (and Belated) Thank You!

This post is long overdue, but the gratitude is as strong as ever! A heartfelt thank you to Vicky Drummond for the generous donation last Christmas. Part of your donation also helped two college students purchase their school uniforms. Your kindness has made a real difference in their academic journey, giving them the confidence and support they need to pursue their dreams. We appreciate you so much!

On this joyous Christmas eve, or 'noche buena,' we come together in the spirit of love and unity, much like the warmth of Thanksgiving celebrations in the US. IRIS CARES is humbled to have played a part in bringing festive cheer to over 20 families who needed it most, sharing the gift of love and care. 'We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.' With deepest gratitude, we thank the selfless volunteers Zaide Camacho Torres, Liomar Sabellano, my sister Faith, and to my generous friend GraceJacob Reed who helped make this moment possible, embodying the true essence of compassion, grace, and love that defines Christmas.
