Oval Office Therapy Dogs breed dogs for service and therapy We have placed several for teens with autism, as well as adults with MS and also psychiatric assistance dogs. We believe that kill shelter dogs have value and ended up in shelters thru little if any fault of their own. In our experience we have found they are more loving and loyal as they have endured many daily battles just trying to sta
y alive. We believe this allows them to have greater insight and affection for people that have suffered similar circumstances. Children in foster care have lost their home and family, sometimes even their siblings. Oval Office Therapy Dogs has been/ or will be assisting in visitations between children and the parents, assisting in times when comfort is needed to make it thru a court hearing and during any trauma situation that we are called.We also will train therapy dogs for CASA programs and any other programs that work with children. Another group close to our hearts are veterans and wounded warriors. Studies have shown how much persons with PTSD respond to therapy/emotional support dogs.
