❤️ That's a Wrap! Thank You!

Our 2026 Chip Terry Fund Text-a-Thon has officially come to an end, and we are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of this incredible community.

When we launched this campaign, we set an ambitious goal of $50,000. While we knew it would be a challenge, we also knew that every dollar raised would help bring hope and healing to first responders and their families.

Together, we raised $24,515 from 246 donors!

To every person who donated, shared a post, sent a text message, became a Team Captain, or simply helped spread our mission—thank you.

Your support allows us to continue providing access to counseling, Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) treatments, family support, medication management, and other life-changing mental health resources for firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, dispatchers, corrections officers, veterans, and their families.

To put the need into perspective, during the month of our fundraiser alone, we received 11 requests for SGB treatments—a treatment we help fund that has shown remarkable success in reducing PTSD symptoms for many first responders. At $600 per treatment, that's $6,600 in assistance requested for just one service in one month.

The need is real, and because of you, we can continue answering those calls for help.

Nearly nine years ago, after losing Chip, our family made a promise that we would do everything we could to make sure fewer families experience the heartbreak of losing a loved one to su***de.

Because of your support, that promise continues.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and standing beside those who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

Because healing is possible. 💙

🚨 This is our final push! 🚨

Tomorrow marks the last day of The Chip Terry Fund's 2026 Text-a-Thon.

When we launched this campaign, we set an ambitious goal of $50,000. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we've already raised more than $23,000—which is about what we've raised in previous years.

First, thank you. Every donation has already made a difference.

But let me put that number into perspective.

This month alone, we've received 11 requests for Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) treatment—one of the life-changing treatments we help fund for first responders struggling with PTSD and the effects of occupational stress.

Each SGB treatment costs $600.

That's $6,600 in assistance requested in a single month for just one type of treatment.

And those requests don't include counseling, inpatient treatment, family support, or other services we provide.

The need continues to grow.

Every donation you make helps ensure that when a firefighter, police officer, EMS professional, dispatcher, corrections officer, veteran, or their family reaches out for help, we can answer that call.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is the time.

Help us finish strong and continue bringing hope and healing to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our communities.

💙 Donate today: https://thechipterryfund.org/text-a-thon/

Thank you for believing in our mission.

Because healing is possible.

🚓🚒 OHIO POLICE & FIRE DEPARTMENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP. 🚒🚓

Ohio first responders have shown us they are willing to ask for help—and we've been honored to answer that call.

In 2025, The Chip Terry Fund provided $86,812 in direct mental health assistance to 44 Ohio first responders, averaging $1,973 per person for counseling, trauma treatment, and other life-changing services.

In 2026, the need has continued to grow. Through June alone, we've already helped 24 Ohio first responders. Unfortunately, limited funding has forced us to reduce our assistance to $600 per person, allowing us to help more individuals but with far less support than many truly need.

The reality is simple: the need is outpacing our resources.

That's why we're asking every police department, fire department, EMS agency, corrections agency, and first responder organization across Ohio to join us.

🚨 Accept the $50,000 Challenge

Our goal is to raise $50,000 so we can continue providing critical mental health support to Ohio's first responders. We are currently at $16,000 with online and check donations.

Your department can help by:
✅ Making a department donation
✅ Hosting a fundraiser
✅ Sharing this post with your members and community

Every dollar raised helps a first responder access the care they need before a crisis becomes a tragedy.

When first responders answer the call for our communities every day, it's our turn to answer theirs.

Because healing is possible.

It only takes a small action to make a massive difference.

Right now, 800 people have reached out to the Chip Terry Fund for help. If every one of those individuals donated just $62.00—or asked a few friends to chip in a portion of that—we would immediately hit our $50,000 goal.

Every single dollar raised goes directly toward supporting brave first responders from across the United States who are courageous enough to raise their hands and ask for help.

In 2017, retired Asst. Fire Chief Alan "Chip" Terry lost his battle with occupational stress injuries and died by su***de.

Like so many others, Chip was the last person anyone expected to lose. He was a respected leader, educator, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

In response to that loss, Chip's family founded The Chip Terry Fund in 2018 with one mission: to ensure first responders and their families know that help is available, hope is real, and healing is possible.

What began as one family's promise has grown into a nationwide mission.

Since 2018, together we have:

💙 Educated more than 5,000 first responders on occupational stress injuries, PTSD, resilience, and su***de prevention.

💙 Provided more than 500 direct mental health services and treatments to first responders and their families.

💙 Invested more than $700,000 directly into mental health care, helping remove financial barriers so first responders can receive the treatment they deserve.

💙 Connected first responders with:

Professional counseling
Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) treatment
Medication management
Inpatient treatment
Couples and family counseling
Save A Warrior
Project Sanctuary
Other trusted healing resources

💙 Served first responders from more than 15 states across the country.

Every statistic represents a real person.

We often wonder what might have been different if these resources had been available—or if Chip had known they existed. While we can't change what happened to our family, we can help write a different ending for someone else.

As we prepare for our annual Text-a-Thon, we invite you to join us.

Whether you make a donation, or simply share our mission, you are helping ensure that another first responder never has to believe they are fighting their battle alone.

Together, we are changing lives.

Together, we are bringing hope.

Because healing is possible.

📢 TEAM CAPTAINS NEEDED! 📱✨
This July, The Chip Terry Fund marks our 8th year anniversary of standing on the frontline for those who protect us. Since losing Chip to his battle with PTSD in 2017, we have been on a non-stop mission to make sure no first responder family navigates trauma alone.

The weight our emergency personnel carry is heavier than ever, but because of your incredible support, healing is possible.

📈 Our Impact by the Numbers
Every single donation during this campaign funds vital resources for police, fire, veterans, dispatch, corrections and EMS personnel. Thanks to our community:
93% of all expenses go directly into funding first responder programs.
We provide funding for training, retreats, and most importantly, evidence based treatments across the country.

Our Biggest Goal Yet: $50,000 to help first responders nationwide.

🧑‍✈️ We Need YOU: Become a Team Captain!
We cannot reach this $1 million milestone without leaders on the ground. A few minutes of your time can help a first responder come home whole.
As a Team Captain, your mission is simple but incredibly impactful:
Recruit & Rally: Build your own squad of 10 to 15 passionate individuals.
Guide & Instruct: Coach your team on exactly how and when to blast out the Text-a-Thon message.
July15th-31st the text-a-thon starts
