Our amazing Association Executive, Jennifer Tucker, recently attended the Regional Association Executive Conference, where she completed more than 23 hours of continuing education and professional development courses. She returned with valuable ideas, best practices, and fresh insights to help strengthen EMBOR and better serve our members.

While at the conference, Jennifer also earned her Professional Standards Administration Certificate, successfully completing the training that satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Arbitration requirements.

Congratulations, Jennifer! We are proud to have a leader who is dedicated to continuous learning, professional excellence, and bringing that knowledge back to make EMBOR even stronger for our members. 💙💛

What an incredible honor to see EMBOR recognized on the Georgia Association of REALTORS® page for our commitment to community service!

We’ll cover topics like probate and inherited property sales, seller authority issues, title problems, powers of attorney, and fraud risks that seem to be becoming more prevalent in the market.

Attendees will walk away with practical tips on how to recognize red flags early, protect their clients, and know when to bring in an attorney to prevent small issues from becoming major problems. The presentation will include real-life examples, common transaction scenarios, and an interactive Q&A discussion focused on situations agents and brokers regularly run into. Today, we want to recognize our very own Dena Lynn Sosebee, who serves as a Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) and works tirelessly on behalf of REALTORS®, homeowners, and communities across Georgia and the nation. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to advocacy help ensure that the REALTOR® voice is heard where decisions are being made.

For the past three years, Dena Lynn Sosebee and Angela Whitmire have proudly served together as FPC and FPC Alternate, meeting with lawmakers, building relationships, and advocating for policies that protect property rights, strengthen communities, and promote opportunities for homeownership.

Advocacy doesn't happen by accident. It happens because REALTORS® show up, speak up, and stay engaged.
