The Covington Elementary PTA and teachers coordinated a bake sale during recess last week and raised $385 for the P.S. We Miss You Fund. 💜

The Payton Elizabeth Strain Scholarship was established to honor the memory and beautiful legacy of Payton Elizabeth Strain.

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a Saint Scholastica Academy student who embodies the qualities that made Payton so special.

Payton was known for her caring heart, eagerness to help others, and kindness toward everyone around her.

Her strong faith and deep love for her family, friends, and community left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Through this scholarship, Payton’s spirit lives on by recognizing a student who reflects her compassion, generosity, and the joy she brought to others.

The P.S. We Miss You Fund made a donation to the Boys and Girls Club to sponsor two children for the 2026 summer term.

The Boys & Girls Club summer camp offers a safe environment for kids for 8 weeks over the summer. They offer various activities during the day, provide healthy meals and foster a positive atmosphere for many children.

The donation was made in memory of Stephen, Phoenix, Mackynzie & Payton Lousteau. Thanks to the generosity and support of so many we are able to honor and remember a wonderful family taken too soon.

We attended Saint Peter Catholic School’s Annual S.O.U.L. (Serving Others United in Love) Day’s check presentation this morning.

This day is such a beautiful representation of all the wonderful charities in our local community.

Share, Help, Remember, Celebrate and Love are the words taken away from hearing the charities and family’s speak about their missions.
