St. Tammany Animal Resource Team We are a non-profit, home-based foster network dedicated to rescuing animals throughout our community

We are partners with PetSmart Charities and have dogs and cats available for adoption at the Covington PetSmart every saturday noon-4 p.m. We also have our animals listed on PetFinder and Adoptapet, which you can access by going to our website. They are all play, a little shy, and curious. None of they hate dogs, but only Shelly seems to be friendly with them. Cats are OK. They are all 4months old.

Starting this Saturday and the remainder of August, Petsmart Charities is shining a light on the many homeless pets in need of forever homes, as well as the Petsmart Charity shelters and rescue organizations that are working to make this possible.

This Saturday, August 22, START volunteers will be at Petsmart in Covington from noon to 3:00pm with some of our rescued cats and kittens to celebrate Petsmart Charities Adopt Joy Event.

Please come and meet some fabulous felines with personality plus, like Shelly, Zoila and Biggie.

From their littlest steps to their biggest moments we are there for our fosters ensuring they are housed, fed, and vetted. This little kitten was found at a few days old along with siblings. Unfortunately due to illness three passed, but the remaining two are strong!

These kittens have a guaranteed home for the next 3 months. They have had a dedicated month of bottle feedings, deworming, baths and vet trips.

The ability for our fosters to take in kittens like this one is because of our supporters who send us supplies and make donations. Every kitten and cat receives our full support but, our support is limited by our finances.
