The Fuzz Run is a 5K road race and one-mile run routed through beautiful, historic Covington, established in 1984 by Captain Willie Davis and Chief Bobby Moody. All proceeds from the race benefit the Police Who Care, Inc. (PWC), which was started in 1974 by Officer Frank Hilton and provides community support for those in need. The run is the primary source of funding for Police Who Care (PWC). If tragedy strikes the employees of the City of Covington, the PWC fund is there to help. In addition to annual contributions to several charities, the fund donates to every family in Georgia who has lost a loved one during their law enforcement duties.
