The Newton County Schools Department of Special Education invites students with disabilities and their families to kick off the 2026-2027 school year at our annual Back-to-School Kick-Off!

Join us on Friday, July 31, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Palmer-Stone Elementary School for an afternoon of fun, connection, and support as we celebrate the beginning of a brand-new school year.

This special event brings together students, families, school staff, and community partners to help ensure every child has the resources and support they need to thrive. You'll have the opportunity to:
• Meet our Special Education Team
• Explore valuable community resources
• Enjoy fun activities, games, prizes, and giveaways
• Connect with other families and community partners

Together, we're illuminating possibilities by celebrating inclusion, building connections, and supporting the success of every student.

The Gwinnett Stripers are coming to Miracle League of Newton County for a morning of baseball and unforgettable memories!

Join us on Saturday, July 25 at 10:00 AM as Stripers players take the field with our Miracle League Competitive teams for an amazing game!

Food & drinks will be available, so help us pack the stands as we cheer on our amazing athletes!
