🇺🇸Support the Carl Perkins Child Advocacy Center by purchasing a flag to honor someone special in our community!! Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly towards supporting victims of child abuse and their families.

The Annual “Field of Flags” will be on display from November 1st to November 30th at businesses, cities, colleges, and schools throughout Tipton County. Please join the Exchange Club of Tipton County and The Carl Perkins Center in promoting patriotism while also helping our efforts to prevent child abuse in our community. Flags can be dedicated in honor of, or in memory of, those who serve our community or country, military veterans, public servants, or your own personal hero.

The cost of each 3’ x 5’ nylon flag is $30.00. This flag will be yours to keep after the event. Your flag will fly on an 8’ pole with a card displaying the name of the person being honored or remembered (one name per flag, please) and who sponsored the flag.

Please fill out the order form (included in this post) and submit to [email protected] by Friday, October 23, 2026. If you choose this option, please pay with cash or check.

🌟 Board Member Monday Spotlight 🌟

Today, we’d like to recognize one of our newest Advisory Board members, Ms. Barbi Rogers! 💙

Barbi is married to Daniel Rogers, and together they have six children: Aaron, Colyn, Tess, Ridge, Lincoln, and Britton. Her family is at the heart of her life, and she enjoys spending time with them, being outdoors, and watching sports.

After graduating high school, Barbi attended the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology and has been a stylist for 24 years. In January 2026, she opened her own salon, All Dolled Up, alongside her daughter as she began her own career as a hairstylist.

Barbi and Daniel are also busy entrepreneurs. Together, they own Sonny’s Place, Inc., Turning Wrenches, D&B Towing, and several Airbnb rentals. Barbi and her family are members of Faith Arlington Church.

Barbi chose to serve on the Carl Perkins Advisory Board because she has a true passion for children and wants to help make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. We are so grateful to have her serving alongside us! 💙

🌟 BOARD MEMBER MONDAY SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Today, we are excited to recognize our Carl Perkins Advisory Board Vice President, Kayla Turnage! 💙

Kayla is married to Tyler Turnage, and together they are the proud parents of their son, Hudson. Kayla serves as the AVP, Loan Officer & Branch Manager at Patriot Bank on the Covington Square and also serves as President of the Tipton County Exchange Club.

Outside of work and her community involvement, Kayla enjoys working on their family farm, helping her husband with their trucking business, playing baseball with her son, spending weekends at the lake with family, and riding in the big trucks with Hudson and Tyler. 🚜🚛⚾️

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful community partners at Crossroads Community Church for their generous donation to the Tipton County Carl Perkins Center Food Pantry!

We are also excited to share that Crossroads Community Church has started a new clothing ministry called Garments of Grace, providing clothing to individuals and families in our community who are in need. 👕❤️
