Meet Stanley!

Stanley is 2 years old and basically a professional sweetheart. He is one of the happiest, most loving guys you’ll ever meet and absolutely lives for attention. If you have hands available for petting, Stanley would like to personally thank you in advance.

He does fantastic with other dogs and cats and has such a gentle, mellow personality. He’s the kind of guy who is just happy to be included, whether that means hanging out with his people, making new four-legged friends, or soaking up every bit of affection he can get.

Stanley did test positive for heartworms, but he is currently on ProHeart 12 and undergoing treatment. He is also fully vetted, including vaccinations, neuter, microchip, f***l floatation/deworming, heartworm testing/smear, medical exams, and preventative care.

Stanley truly is the total package: sweet, easygoing, social, and full of love. Now he just needs the forever family he can give all that love to.

We went into today hoping a few of our cats might find their people and four of them said, “Yep, this one. I’ll take this human.”

Four cats are heading home tonight with brand-new families, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Thank you to everyone who came out to PetSmart Mandeville, stopped to meet the cats, shared our posts, and continues to support this little rescue and the chaos that comes with it. 🖤

Bring us your cardboard tubes and we’ll trade you for a cute FFR sticker! The kittens get their favorite trash, I mean, toys, and you get a sticker. Everybody wins.

Slidell friends!! Don’t forget our supply drop-off location!

Want to help keep the rescue stocked without making the drive to Covington? Our friends at Bare Goods Market are a donation drop-off location for Forgotten Felines Rescue, so our Slidell friends can easily send some supplies our way.

We can always use:

Paper pellet litter — always a huge need
Clumping clay litter
Science Diet Dry kitten food
Purina Pro Plan wet kitten food
Paper towels
Cleaning supplies
Cat toys
And yes… we’ll even take your empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls. Apparently our kittens believe your recycling is top-tier entertainment.

Whether it’s a bag of litter, a few cans of kitten food, or the cardboard rolls you were about to toss, it all helps stretch our rescue budget a little further. The kittens, of course, remain completely unconcerned with said budget.
